icon Science, Technology and National Assembly
Constituent scientists and Science and Technology Advisory Board members met with the members of National Assembly to talk about how valuable science innovation is to the future of the country. Special ectures on the pressing issues of national science and case studies were conducted with National Assembly members and constituent scientists in attendance. The Best Assemblyman Award was presented to recognize the efforts in the national inspection of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Science and Technology.
icon Science and Technology Advisory Board
The Board is comprised of 152 members selected from S&T leaders in academia, government-supported research institution and corporate research institutes to support the activities of National Assembly members in congressional politics and encourage communication between lawmakers and science and technology community
icon Special Lectures on Science
In 2010, the number of lectures, speakers and participants is 196, 199 and 21,940, respectively in 11 regions across the country
icon Briefing Session on Admission to Scientific and Engineering Majors
-To inspire an interest in scientific and engineering majors among prospective students and stimulate the flow of best students into scientific and engineering majors, a total of 33 briefing sessions were held in 2010 in the 12 regions nationwide with 50 speakers and 5,737 participants
icon Science and Technology Forum
The Forum was held for 49 times with 249 speakers and 3,100 participants in 12 regions nationwide in 2010, serving as a venue to exchange information on pending issues facing the science and technology community of regional federations.
icon Technology Supporters Program
The Program is to coordinate the service of technology consulting, training and information of scientists and engineers to small and medium-sized enterprises. In 2010, there were 39 projects and a company should match just more than 10% of the government grant
icon Support Program for S&T Activities of S&T Undergrads/Grads
The Program is focused on invigorating the activities of future scientists and engineers, inspiring an interest in pressing issues of science and technology and connecting with senior scientists to lead them into the future S&T workforce.
